Free Website + Maintenance Plan Offer – FAQ

Wavebreak Technology offers a fully built website at no upfront cost when you commit to a qualifying Website Maintenance Plan. Here’s everything you need to know.

What’s included in the offer?

We’ll build you a fully functional, mobile-responsive website:

Boutique Website: Up to 10 content pages, customised template design, contact form, legal templates, SEO setup, and admin training if needed
eCommerce Website: Everything in the Boutique offer, plus product catalog setup (up to 20 items), shopping cart, payment gateway, shipping rules, and tax setup.

What do I need to commit to?

To access the free website:

Boutique Website: Subscribe to any Maintenance Plan (Low, Mid, or High Tide) for 12 months.
eCommerce Website: Subscribe to the Mid Tide or High Tide Plan for 12 months.

What if I cancel early?

If you cancel your Maintenance Plan before the 12-month minimum:

Boutique Website: A fee of $800 inc. GST will apply.
eCommerce Website: A fee of $2,000 inc. GST will apply.

These fees reflect the standard cost of development.

Do I own the website?

Yes – after twelve months of active Maintenance Plan service, full ownership transfers to you. Before that point, the site is managed under Wavebreak’s account.

Is hosting included?

Yes. Hosting is provided through TMD Hosting during your Maintenance Plan.

If you don’t renew after twelve months, you must:

Migrate to a Wavebreak Hosting-Only Plan ($217.80/year inc. GST), or
Set up your own hosting account (e.g. via TMD Hosting)

If no alternative hosting arrangement is confirmed within 30 days of the hosting-only period ending, the site will be taken offline.

What’s not included?

Written content or product copy, unless otherwise agreed to
Logo or brand design
CRM or inventory integrations
Extra revision rounds or major layout customisations

We’ll let you know if any requests fall outside scope before billing.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my Maintenance Plan?

Yes – upgrades are available anytime. Downgrades can be requested after the initial 12-month term.
